Electric and rechargeable vibrators are more powerful than battery operated ones.   With electric vibrators you will need to be plugged into AC but you will never lose a charge unless there's a power outage.  Rechargeable vibes are also stronger than those using batteries and offer more freedom of movement than electric massagers.  You just have to remember to charge.  Biggest advantage of both... no running around looking for batteries.
